The General Office & Payroll Assistant provides administrative and payroll support to ensure the office operates efficiently and employees are paid accurately and on time. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
Description:
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Weekly Paycheck
- Payroll Support
- Assist with processing weekly, biweekly, or monthly payroll.
- Review employee time records, time sheets, attendance, and payroll information for accuracy.
- Enter and maintain payroll data in payroll and accounting systems.
- Assist with tracking overtime, PTO, vacation, and other employee time-related information.
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential payroll and employee records.
- Assist with payroll reports, audits, and required documentation.
- Respond to employee questions regarding time sheets, pay, deductions, and payroll procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information.
- General Office Administration
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and respond to general inquiries professionally.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, email, and office correspondence.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper files.
- Enter data and prepare reports, spreadsheets, letters, and other documents.
- Order and maintain office supplies.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and office activities.
- Provide administrative support to management and other departments.
- Assist with maintaining employee files and on boarding documentation.
- Perform general clerical duties and other administrative tasks as assigned.
This position may have access to confidential employee, payroll, financial, and business information. The employee is expected to maintain strict confidentiality and follow all company policies and procedures regarding sensitive information.
What you'll do:

Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Physical:
- Ability to work effectively in a standard office environment.,Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.,Ability to communicate effectively by phone, email, and in person.,Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet established deadlines.,Standing / Walking,Repetitive Motion,Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
